Singer Palash Sen has landed himself into a controversy over his alleged sexist remarks during the annual cultural fest at IIT Bombay, reports said on Monday.

Triggering a controversy, popular band Euphoria's lead singer allegedly told the crowd on Saturday: "You all are going to find the best looking women when you leave this campus. Aur woh tumhaare liye roti belenge (They will cook food for you)."

Sen further said at the Mood Indigo at IIT-Bombay: "God has made girls beautiful and boys intelligent."

Apologizing for the remarks made by the singer, Mood Indigo authorities tweeted: "We strongly condemn the remarks of Palash Sen at the concert yesterday. We apologize on our part for the band's remarks. The organizing committee is in the process of deciding further action in the matter."

Alok Parande, Euphoria's PR manager, tweeted as he gave a reply to one Urvashi Sarkar: "Ofcourse I am. No sexist remarks were made.. He was quoted out of context. But then, easier to believe negative stuff, right?"
