Uttarakhand blank Punjab in National Volleyball

Moradabad, Dec 23 : Uttarakhand overpowered Punjab 3-0 in the National Volleyball Championships here Monday.

Mandeep and Navjot dominated the match for Uttrakhand who won 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Delhi hammered Mizoram 3-0. This was attack and block fest by Nipun Dagar and Nitin to put the game in their favour 25-19, 25-23, 25-18.

Tamil Nadu cruise over services 3-0. G. R Vaishnav proved to be very tough for services as created a wall the net and Naveen Raja Jacob dominated with his attack.

Third set was neck to neck fight but services was not able to overcome Tamil Nadu (25-18, 25-18, 27-25).

Gujarat defeated Chandigarh 3-1 (5-18, 25-21, 22-25, 25-21)
West Bengal beat Madhya Pradesh 3-0 (25-18, 27-25, 25-19)
Karnataka Beat Assam 3-0(25-18, 27-25, 25-19)
Andhra Pradesh beat Bihar 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-16).
