Vogue Mexico breaks underage model policy by featuring 15-year-old's pics in mag

New York, Dec 23 : Vogue has violated its own underage model policy by featuring 15-year-old Polish model Julie Borawska's numerous pictures on magazine's Mexico edition.


Kelly Talamas, the editor-in-chief told Fashionista that they had purchased the shoot from photographer Kevin Sinclair and the magazine had no part in its casting or production.

While Sinclair said when they had communicated with her agency in Poland they never mentioned that she was so young, and he was under the impression that she was 18 years or older.

In June 2012, Vogue had adopted a new health initiative that included a pact among its international editors to no longer work with models under the age of 16.
