CRY hosts WinterUtsav

Kolkata, Dec 23 : Non-government organisation (NGO) Child Rights and You (CRY) in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Calcutta organized the 'WinterUtsav' with 100 school children of Hanuman Balika Vidyalaya on Saturday.


The objective was to start the winter vacations for children with celebrations and to make the school more child friendly and attractive for the students.

Volunteers from CRY and students of IIM-C along with the children planted trees in the school and painted the school walls.

The event found it's support also in the form of R.K.Dalmia, owner of Sanskar Enterprise that provided all the paint required for the painting.

The colourful wall had images of children playing, going to school and having a good time.

Moreover, messages in support of child rights were also written on the wall.
