How to deal with post-partum depression revealed

New Delhi, December 22 : Post-partum depression becomes too much to handle for a new mother, as it interferes with her ability to look after herself and the baby.

According to Parents India Magazine, the following tips can help one deal with the bouts of depression or anxiety.

Getting adequate sleep is very important, as tiredness and fatigue can make the symptoms even worse.

New mums should take their meals on time, so that they have adequate nutrition and should make sure that they have prioritized their relationships as the arrival of a new baby can be very demanding.

Mothers needs to take out some 'adult time' to spend it with their spouse or other family members to help de-stress.

Lastly, keeping feelings bottled up is not recommended as sharing the worries will only help in dealing with the problems.
