Microsoft gifts Windows Phone users free 20GB SkyDrive space for one year

Washington, Dec. 22 : Microsoft is inviting Windows Phone owners to activate a bonus 20GB of SkyDrive storage for a year.


The storage will be active for a year, and users can claim it by the end of January.

According to the Verge, SkyDrive has grown increasingly important for Microsoft, particularly with the changes introduced in Windows 8.1.

Also, the company is already giving away a generous 200GB allowance for two years with every purchase of Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2 tablets.
