New breathalyzer plug for smartphones tells how sloshed you are!

Washington, Dec. 19 : A new plug for iOS and Android devices reportedly turns the device into a breathalyzer and the supplementary app provides a history of the user's drinking sprees.

The Alcohoot smartplug plugs into the audio ports of the smartphones and tablets and additional mouthpieces and power cords are also sold separately.

According to Cnet, the 119 dollars worth breathalyzer boasts of 'law enforcement grade' fuel cell sensors that provide professional grade accuracy.

The Alcohoot free app measures a user's blood alcohol content along with providing data about the person's drinking history including measurements of previous drinking sessions and on overview of drinking habits and also taxi services nearby.

The report said that the extra mouthpieces and replacement power cords are available for 7.99 dollars and 9.99 dollars, respectively, while users can get a new device each year for 30 dollars in exchange for a new one.
