BSF man injured in Pak firing

By Saleem Iqbal Qadri, Jammu, Dec 19 : In a fresh ceasefire violation along the India-Pakistan border, a Border Security Force (BSF) Sub Inspector of 68 battalion was injured in firing from across the border in Kathua district of Jammu on Thursday.

The injured BSF sub inspector is identified as Jitender Singh.

According to sources, the firing incident took place in the area of Manayari post in Hira Nagar sector in Samba district.

Sources told IBNS that the Sub Inspector was injured in a sniper fire from across the Manayari post.

The injured border guard was immediately shifted to the Govt Medical College Jammu.
