Cate Blanchett nominated for Golden Globe Awards

Melbourne, December 13 : Cate Blanchett has been nominated for Golden Globe Awards for her role in Woody Allen's 'Blue Jasmine'.

The 44-year-old actress has been nominated along with Judi Dench, Sandra Bullock, Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet, News.com.au reported.

Blanchett was earlier nominated for Screen Actors Guild Award recently for the same role.

The Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards are the two major forerunners for the Oscars.
