Kochi, Dec 12 : Scanning equipment have been seized from a diagnostic centre here in Kerala after it was found that the centre was not registered under the Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PNDT) Act, a health official said Thursday.

"Registration of such scan centres is mandatory," Hazeena, Ernakulam district medical officer, told IANS.
