1 killed, 21 hurt in Pakistan blast
At least one person was killed and 21 were injured when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden truck into the gate of the headquarters of Pakistan Rangers, in the southern Karachi, on Thursday.
Pakistan Rangers is a paramilitary force.
Reports quoting police said nine Pakistan Rangers personnel, several policemen and two civilians were among the injured. The person who died was a Rangers man as well. Around 100kg of explosives was used in the blast.
The blast smashed the glasses of the headquarters and a fire also broke out in the building. Various walls of the building also collapsed.
