Another storm hits New York
A northeaster lashed against New York and New Jersey areas on Wednesday with rain and snow disrupting power and stopping trains.
The storm occurred before the area had recovered from the damage caused by cyclone Sandy, that hit on October 29 and killed 121 people in the US and Canada.
People in vulnerable areas of New York and New Jersey were evacuated ahead of the storm.
Reports said power supply to hundreds of thousands of families was cut off in Long Island, New Jersey and the surroundings.
The storm also hit traffic in some areas and caused some accidents.
