Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who went to the Rajiv Gandhi International airport at Shamshabad here this morning for undertaking an aerial survey of the flood-hit districts, had to wait for nearly two hours there before the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) gave permission for his aircraft to take off.
The unavoidable delay due to inclement weather at Gannavaram airport near Vijayawada where it was to land.
He left for Gannavaram after clearance from the ATC.
Ministers Botsa Satyanarayana, Raghuveera Reddy, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Sudharshan Reddy and Pithani Satyanarayana accompanied the Chief Minister.
