PM calls up Andhra CM; offers help for flood victims

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today called up Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and offered help for flood-affected areas.
The Prime Minister also directed the Chief Minister to constantly monitor the situation and extend all possible assistance for relief and rehabilitation of those affected by the rains and devastating floods which have claimed about 30 lives so far, a spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said here.
He also extended sympathies to those who have lost their family members in Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna districts.
