Chalukya express extended to Pondy, Turnelveli

The Southwestern Railways (SWR) today announced the extension of Chalukya Express running between Dadar to Yesvantpur in the city to Puducherry and Tirunelveli.

Train No 11017/11018 Dadar-Yesvantpur express (06 days a Week) is now extended to Pondicherry and Tirunelveli (both tri-weekly) with effective from Dadar end on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays commencing from November nine.

From Pandicherry it would run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays commencing from November 7, from Dadar to Tirunelveli on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays commencing from November 10 and from Tirunelveli to Dadar on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, commencing from November 9.

Due to extension of Train Nos 11017/11018 Dadar-Yesvantpur-Dadar Chalukya Express the re-numbered are: Train 11005 Dadar-Pandicherry Express (Tri-Weekly), 11006 Pandicherry-Dadar Express (Tri-Weekly), 11021 Dadar-Tirunelveli Express (Tri-Weekly), 11022 Tirunelveli-Dadar Express (Tri-Weekly).

Consequent to extension of Chalukya express, the day's on which Train Nos 110017/11018 Dadar-Mysore-Dadar Sharavati weekly express via Miraj has been changed.

Train No 11035 Dadar-Mysore Weekly will depart from Dadar on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays, with effect from November 8, while train No 11036 Mysore-Dadar Weekly will depart from Mysore on Sundays instead of Thursdays, with effect from November 11, a SWR release said.
