CPI(M) dist unit to organise Sathyagraha on Nov 9

District unit of CPI(M) today decided to organize a Sathyagraha (agitation) in front of district collectorate on November 9 to protest against filing of cases against Kannur MP K Sudhakaran under weak sections.
CPI (M) MLAs and local body representatives and other party workers would attend the Sathyagraha.
A CPI(M) District Secretariat release alleged that police had registered a case under weak sections in connection with Valapatanam police station incident that took place on October 31 last.
The CPI(M) demanded that police should register case against Mr Sudhakran for obstructing functioning of police official and allegedly threatening Sub Inspector B K Siju.
