About 750 sportspersons will be in action in various events at the 44th Central Revenue South Zone Sports Meet being to be held here on November 6 and 7.
Organising Committee Chairman J P Gregory told a press conference here that the events, organised by Customs and Central Excise, Bangalore, will be held in Athletics, Kabadi, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton, Basket Ball, Body Building, Cricket, Football and Swimming.
While Tamil Nadu was last year's Overall Champion, hosts Karnataka had won second place.
The meet will be inaugurated at Sree Kanteerava Stadium by A K Kaushal, Chief Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Cochin while G G Pramila, Athlete of International fame would be the Chief Guest at the prize distribution.
