Silver, Gold rise
The precious metals rose today at the domestic bullion market today, as Silver rose by Rs 420 to Rs 59,200 per kg and Gold increased by Rs 255 to Rs 30,635 per ten gm on good demand from stockists amid negative trend in Asian Market, traders at the Bombay Bullion Assocation (BBA) said.
Silver, which had slid by Rs 1,410 per kg in the previous session,opened steady today at Rs 58,780. Later, it recovered and ended positive at Rs 59,200, edged up by Rs 420 per kg as compared to its previous close.
Similarly, Gold extended the previous session's losses as it fell marginally by Rs 15 in the opening session. Till the end of the session, it recovered by Rs 255 to end at Rs 30,635 per ten gm.Similarly, pure variety also rose by Rs 275 to Rs 30,775 per ten gm.
In Asian Market, Silver was quoted low at USD 31.04 per ounce and Gold also fell to USD 16.81 per ounce.
