Nilam affects train services in East Coast section
Train services in East Coast section have been either regulated or cancelled since Sunday following flooding on tracks in Vijayawada division of South Central Railway's Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada section triggered by cyclone Nilam.
The 12839 Howrah-Chennai Mail scheduled to leave Howrah tonight, and the 18615 Howrah-Hatia Express scheduled to leave Howrah at 2220 hrs will remain cancelled due to non availability of link rake.
Besides, the 18616 Hatia-Howrah Express scheduled to leave Hatia on November 6 at 2110 hrs will also remain cancelled.
The 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 0045 hrs on November 6 instead of 0725 hrs on November 5.
The 12841 Howrah-Chennai Coromandel Express has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 4400 hrs. on November 6 instead of 1450 hrs November 5.
The 12665 Howrah-Kanniyakumari Express has been rescheduled to leave Howrah at 0530 hrs on November 6 instead of 1610 hrs. on November 5.
Diversion of trains via Ballarsah-Nagpur-Bilaspur-Jharsuguda-Tatanagar-Kharagpur instead of normal route Visakhapatnam-Bhadrak-Kharagpur.
The following trains have been diverted and will be running late: 12666 Kanniyakumari-Howrah Express, 12864 Yesvantpur-Howrah Express, 12253 Yesvantpur-Bhagalpur Express, 22606 Villupuram-Purulia Express, 08636 Yesvantpur-Hatia Special, 12840 Chennai-Howrah Mail, and 12842 Chennai-Howrah Coromandel Express
