Has veteran Malayalam film actor Mohanal lost his ability to take his fans to the world of laughter with his natural comedies?

His fans think that he could not create the same tempo and make the film buffs laugh in theatres in recent years. He had mesmerized his fans and stirred the theater with his natural humor sense and easy way of acting blending with comedies during 1980s and 1990s.

Comedies of Mohanlal, who came in the field as a true villain in 'Manjil Virinja pookal', directed by Fazil, are different from other leading stars, with his easy way of expressions and actions, thanks to the films by veteran film director Priyadarshan.

Priyadarshan-Mohanlal combination had scripted a new formula for comedy in Malayalam films as even the heroes could be able to make the audience laugh, better than stereotyped comedians, and the former had exploited the talent of the leading actor very much and paved a smooth way to the hero characters from true villain roles The team started the film with 'Poochakkoru Mookkuthi' produced in 1984 and the other actors like Sankar, Jagathi, Nedumudi Venu, MG Soman and Menaka had played their role very well in it.
