Police raids bar in Mumbai for functioning beyond permitted time
Police in Mumbai raided a bar early on Sunday morning for violating the rules and regulations of Bombay Police Act by functioning beyond the permitted time limit.
Hundreds of men and women present in the premises were asked to leave the bar by policemen who raided the bar for defying the legal permitted time limitations.
Police Inspector, Manohar Iegbole said that actions will be taken against the bar owners who defied laws.
"We will take the legal actions in this case. We will take actions for opening the bar beyond the permitted time. I will look into the matter and find out who the culprits are," he said.
Foreign nationals were also seen among the guests at the bar.
This is the second bar raid in a week.
On October 31, police raided a building and rescued eight girls involved in flesh trade.
