Chamarajanagar records minimum temperature of 15.8 dc in the State

Following is a summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka, at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts(cm): Belthangady, Channagiri 4 each, Mudibidre, Ramagiri, Chintamani PTO 3 each, Mulki, Mangalore AP, Jagalbet, Linganamakki, Mulbagal, Srinivaspura, Kurugodu, Santhebennur, Holalkere, Tiptur, Madhugiri, Bukkapatna, Sira, Chintamani, Gowribidanur, Gudibande, Chikaballapura, Magadi 2 each, Dharmasthala, Subramanya, Karkala, Kollur, Sedbal, Kalghatgi, Shirahatti, Arasikere, Harapanahalli, Shidlaghatta, Thondebhavi 1 each.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at a fewplaces over North Interior Karnataka and remained normal over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Chamarajanagar has recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15.8 degree celsius in the plains of the State.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers would occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain would occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy sky.

Rain/thundershowers would occur in some areas. Minimum temperature would be around 18 degree celsius.
