4 Rajasthani players excluded from Royals

Rajasthan Royals skipper Rahul Dravid and the team management wanted to give a new shape to the Jaipur franchise as they did not include four Rajasthani players including pacers Pankaj Singh, Deepak Chahar, wicketkeeper batsman Dishant Yagnik and left arm spinner Gajendra Singh in the team for the next IPL season.

Now only Ashok Menaria is detained in the team. Apart from them, 14 players were not included in the team on Dravid's suggestion, after discussion with the team management.

Most successful pacers of Rajasthan in the previous Ranji season Pankaj Singh, Deepak Chahar along with wicketkeeper Dishant Yagnik have not been included in the Rajasthan Royals team for the IPL-6 to be held next year in April-May.

Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) had asked for submission of contracted players list to the IPL franchise by October 31.

Rajasthan Royals now have only player, Ashok Menaria among the contracted players from the state.

Now, it is clear that the IPL-1 champion Rajasthan Royals will be seen in a new form in the next IPL. Royals kept only 14 players who played in the previous edition while the remaining 15 players now have to come through auction.

According to the sources , now Royals will go for talent hunt in Jaipur after Deepawali.

Though, Akash Chopra who was also selected in the Rajathan Royals team earlier is now playing for Himchal Pradesh in this Ranji season.

Apart from them, South African's Johan Botha, Paul Collingwood of England, Dinesh Chandimal of Sri Lanka and England skipper A Cook has been excluded from the Royals. Left arm spinner Gajendra Singh, who was also picked up by the Royals was not included in the team without playing any match.

Highest run maker of the last Ranji season, Robin Bist was also excluded by the DareDevils team. He will also be part of the IPL auction.

"Yes I was excluded from the Jaipur franchise team without any reason", told the Rajasthani player to UNI on the condition of anonymity.
