The northeast Monsoon has been vigorous over coastal Andhra Pradesh and coastal and south interior Karnataka and active over Kerala.

Night temperatures were markedly below normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya and were below normal in some parts of Nagaland Manipur Mizoram Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch and of Telangana and in remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya. They were appreciably above normal in Marathwada, vidarbha and Chhattisgarh, some parts of Madhya Maharashtra and were above normal in Odisha and Tamil Nadu, some parts of Jharkhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradsh, Rayalaseema and of south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Odisha and coastal Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places in Bihar.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and coastal and north interior Karnataka and at a few places in Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu south interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland Manipur Mizoram Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat state.
