JCB India to invest Rs 500 crore in its upcoming Jaipur unit
Leading earthmoving and construction equipment manufacturers JC Bamford Excavators Limited Indian subsidiary JCB India will invest Rs 500 crore in the initial phase of the upcoming construction equipment manufacturing unit in Jaipur.
This was revealed by JC Bamford Excavators Chairman Anthony Bamford during his meeting with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the latter's residence here today.
The new unit is coming up in the Mahindra World City SEZ here that was being brought up as a world class equipment manufacturing facility, Mr Bamford said. He said company has signed the land purchase agreement with Mahindra World City for purchasing 70 acres land and the facility on completion by next year would provide employment to about 5000 people.
Industry Minister Rajendra Pareek, Chief Secretary CK Mathew, Principal Secretary Industry Sunil Arora were among those who were present.
