Gadkari Should be in star cast of Slumdog Millionaire: Digvijay
Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh on Thursday took a jibe on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari and taunted him to come the hero of Slumdog Millionaire-2.
Talking to media on the issue of financial discrepancies against Gadkari at a election rally here, Digvijay said that Gadkari should be the star in a sequel to the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire as many of his companies and directors were found fake.
"Slumdog Millionaire-2 should be made staring Nitin Gadkari, as his directors are all found in slums, at least stars of Slumdog Millionaire got paid, Gadkari's directors didn't," said Digvijay.
Recently, the Congress leader accused Gadkari of having links with Ajay Sancheti, a businessman alleged in coal allocations scam and facing defamation case filled by Gadkari.
Anti-corruption activists of IAC have levelled allegations of financial anomalies and illegal farmland acquisition against Purti Group, headed by Gadkari.
