BJP Lok Sabha member G M Siddesh today said that Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and the party's state unit President K S Eshwarappa was ready to sacrifice his post to retain former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in the party.
Talking to reporters here, he said that the party's Central Core Committee will be meeting in Delhi shortly to take a final decision on Mr Eshwarappa's willingness.
Mr Siddesh said BJP feel that the party should go to the polls with charismatic leader Yeddyurappa who has built the party and his exit and floating a new party may affect in the next general election to the Legislative Assembly.
Replying to a question, Mr Siddesh said, "there may not be much delay, a decision on offering suitable post to Mr Yeddyurappa will be taken by Central leaders at the earliest."
