TVS Motors reports 4 per cent growth
TVS Motor Company has reported four per cent growth in sales for the month of October.
The company registered total sales of 190,438 units in October as against 183,718 units registered in October 2011, a TVS Motor Company release said here today.
The total two wheeler sales grew by four per cent with sales of 186,376 units in October against 180,006 units recorded last year.
The company recorded six per cent increase in domestic sales registering 170,273 units as against 159,887 units last October.
The company sold 72,687 motorcycle units against 75,652 units. Scooters registered sales of 43,973 units as against 47,445 units in the same month of the previous year.
The company's total exports for the month of October stood at 18,563 units against 22,129 units in the same month of the previous year.
The two wheeler exports was 16,103 units as against 20,119 units in October 2011.
The company's three wheeler sales grew by nine per cent from 3,712 units in October last year to 4,062 units this October.
