The northeast Monsoon has been vigorous over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

While, it has been active over Kerala.

Night temperatures were markedly below normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra. They were appreciably below normal in Assam, Meghalaya and some parts of Vidarbha.

They were below normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu and coastal Karnataka, and in remaining parts of east Uttar Pradesh.

They were appreciably above normal in some parts of Telangana. They were above normal in remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra, while normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy to very heavy rains may occur at most places in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar islands, and at many places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers would occur at a few places in Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Lakshadweep.

They are also likely to occur at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal,Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat region.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, Saurashtra and Kutch.
