Spirit Air to give 'free tickets' to inaugural passengers

Spirit Air today announced to offer one free ticket to all the passengers of its all inaugural flights on Kolkata-Patna-Purnea route slated to take off on November 6.

A statement issued by the DTDS Travel and Tour Planner Ltd, the partner company of the airliner in the flight operations here today said all passengers of the inaugural flights on November 6 between Kolkata-Patna-Purnea on any of the four sectors, Kolkata-Purnea; Purnea-Kolkata; Purnea-­Patna; Patna-Purnea, would be offered one free ticket (one way) as a special gesture.

DTDS would operate charter flights on per seat basis between Kolkata and Purnea via Patna twice a week (Monday and Friday) through a nine seat Cessna aircraft.

Spirit Air is also going to start flights between Bokaro and Kolkata via Jamshedpur from tomorrow.

It would be three day a week affair, Sales Manger of the DTDS, Shyamal Chakraborty today said.
