Spuul launches new in-app purchase features

Internet video streaming service Spuul.com, that specialises in Indian movies and TV shows, has introduced a new 'in-app purchase' service to its' iOS app.
The premium service on Spuul, which is USUSD 4.99 per month was until recently only available to subscribe through the web, officials informed.
"But now, the new in-app feature allows users to easily sign-up for a monthly premium subscription within the Spuul app itself with just a few clicks," they said.
"Payments are processed via the user's iTunes account. The premium subscription gives users unlimited access to free as well as premium movies, on a monthly basis."
Commenting on the in-app purchase feature Spuul.com Chief Product Officer, Michael Smith said, "With the in-app purchase feature users can instantly sign up for our premium subscription with just three easy taps."
"We believe this feature will drive greater interaction with the app and make our movies even more accessible to users."
Commenting on the overall performance of the app, Smith said, "The Spuul app addresses a critical need for easy access to Indian content."
"Over 70 percent of Spuul's current users stream movies on mobile and since the launch of the in-app feature, we've seen subscribers increase by almost 150 percent. We are delighted that users are enthusiastically embracing our app."
Developed internally by Spuul, the app supports any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch device running iOS version
4.3 or later.
Smith added, "The iOS app's unique resume function allows users to save and recall playback position between different devices."
"So the next time you pause your movie on one device, you can pick up from where you left off on any device of your choice."
"The easy-to-use search function simplifies the discovery of content and helps deliver a stellar entertainment experience for movie watchers," he said.
The Spuul app is available to download for free on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
