Leading Home Entertainment brand LG Electronics India has announced the launch of its 84-inch (84.04 inch diagonal) Ultra HD 3D TV, boasting a native "ultra definition" (UD) screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 to match its impressive size.
LG's Ultra HD 3D TV is the company's response to growing consumer demand for larger, more immersive home TVs with greater functionality.
LG's 84 inch Ultra HD 3D TV introduces a number of new smart features with the aim of providing greater convenience and simpler interaction.
LG Electronics India Private Limited (LGEIL) Managing Director Soon Kwon said; "LG's 84 inch Ultra HD 3 TV represents a whole new level of home viewing experience because it offers every advanced technology we currently have to offer."
"With four times the pixel resolution of today's HDTVs, ultra-HD technology promises to transform the home entertainment experience on giant displays, truly recreating the movie theater in your living room."
Talking about targets, he said, "We are targeting business worth Rs.1000 crore from 3D TVs and aim to consolidate our position in the Flat Panel TV segment with 30pc market share and 45pc market share in 3D TV.
"We have an aggressive marketing strategy with a target investment of Rs.100 crore in Flagship product communication accompanied by experiential marketing campaigns."
