The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Sunday announced the admission schedule for its session beginning January 2013 for programmes like PG Diploma in HIV Medicine (PGDHIVM) and Diploma in Nursing Administration (DNA), among others.
The last date for applying to all the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes of the university is Nov 30, 2012 without late fee and Dec 30 with late fee of Rs.200 in the respective regional centres, a statement said.
Programmes specially offered only in January session are M.Sc. Mathematics with Applications in Computer Science (MSCMACS), Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHHM), PG Diploma in Geriatric Medicine (PGDGM), PG Diploma in HIV Medicine (PGDHIVM), Diploma in Nursing Administration (DNA) and Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (DCCN).
IGNOU has invited applications for Masters of Computer Applications (MCA), MA in Rural Development, Tourism Management, English, Hindi, Philosophy, Gandhi and Peace Studies, Education, Public Administration, Participatory Development, Social Work, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology and Psychology, among others, it added.
The university has also invited applications for Bachelor degree programmes which include Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP), B.A. in Political Science, History, Economics, Mathematics, Public Administration, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology and English.
The students handbook and prospectus are available at all the regional centres of the university as well as in the university's headquarters. It can be purchased for Rs.100 submitted along with the requisite fee in the form of a demand draft to the regional centre concerned.
