Prakash Jha's latest film Chakravyuh got a 15 minutes standing ovation after its screening at the prestigious Empire Cinema in Leicester Square.
The film was part of the official 'Thrill Gala' selection of the 56th BFI London Film Festival.
Former Indian Premiere League (IPL) chairman Lalit Modi was also present at the premiere in the London International Film Festival.
Modi said he was extremely moved after watching the film.
"Saw 'Chakrayavuh' premiere in London with my good friend Arjun Rampal. The movie really moved me and gave me insight into the Naxalite (Maoist) problem that has been spreading across our country," tweeted Modi.
He also emphasized that the movie highlighted many unknown insights about Naxalite issue that every Indian must know.
Further elaborating his experience, Modi posted, "Must see and must congratulate Prakash Jha for having brilliantly depicted and captured the story. Arjun and Abhay have played their roles brilliantly."
Starring Abhay Deol, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee, Esha Gupta, Anjali Patil and Om Puri, Chakravyuh is slated for release on Oct 24.
