RJD chief and former Union minister Lalu Prasad today alleged that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was fuelling communal forces in the state with his close network with the saffron brigades- the BJP and the RSS.
In due course of his Parivartan Yatra ( march for transformation), Mr Prasad arrived at Bhagalpur where he told reporters that the Nitish Kumar government was fuelling communal forces at the behest of BJP and RSS and his party would prevent him at any cost from doing so.
Mr Kumar was 'misleading' the people in the name of secularism, he alleged, saying Mr Kumar on one hand had joined hands with the hard-liner Hindu leader Narendra Modi in Chandigarh while on the other opposed and objected Bihar visit of the leader.
Mr Prasad further alleged that Mr Kumar chose to continue in the ministry of the Union cabinet at the time of riots in Gujarat whereas the LJP leader Ramvilas Paswan had quit the cabinet in protest against the incidents.
Dubbing Mr Kumar as a pseudo-secular, Mr Prasad said Nitish Kumar was running the NDA government with the help of the BJP and Saffron brigade leader Sushil Kumar Modi was working like his assistant. He claimed that the defeat of BJP government led by Narendra Modi was imminent in the ensuing Gujarat Assembly election.
The saffron brigade was conspiring to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country, he alleged, saying he would never let it happen.
Speaking on the FDI issue, he said the retailers should not be scared of it as the Wall Mart would be set up only on the basis of the population of ten lakh.
Training gun at the NDA government of Bihar, Mr Prasad alleged that the state government had failed on all fronts and the crime rate registered a steep hike during the present regime.
