Olivia Wilde hung out with strippers to prepare for movie role

Olivia Wilde has revealed that she prepared for her role as an exotic dancer in her new movie 'Butler' by spending time with real life strippers.
The 28-year-old admits that she learned the tricks of the trade from girls working at a club in Louisiana.
"We went down to Action Central Cabaret in Shreveport, Louisiana, and I got to hang out in the locker room with the strippers, and they were so sweet. They were really helpful. But also being able to hang out with the strippers let me know a little about the logistics of working at a strip club. I learned that what they do is incredibly difficult...," she told the New York Post.
"It's really an under-appreciated dance form."
Wilde also read Diablo Cody's book 'Candy Girl', which tells the story of the screenwriter's brief stint as a stripper.
"That was the most useful thing," she said.
