Tajikistan President to visit India
President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, will pay a State Visit to India from Sept 1 to 4 at the invitation of President Pranab Mukherjee.
On 3 September, the Tajikistan President will meet the President and Vice President Hamid Ansari, and hold discussions on bilateral cooperation with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
During the visit, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna will also call on Rahmon.
On the same day, Rahmon will address a business meeting jointly organized by ASSOCHAM, CII and FICCI.
The President will also visit Bangalore on 4 September.
