Samsung unveils 'smartphone-cum-tablet' Galaxy Note 2 at IFA 2012
Korean mobile maker Samsung has finally unveiled its much awaited smartphone-cum-tablet device Galaxy Note.
The new gadget that has been updated with an improved screen and performance was released at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) trade show in Berlin.
The updated version improves the stylus that allows users to write notes and select areas on the screen, the Telegraph reports.
It also incorporates the success of design features now found in the Galaxy SIII phone.
According to the report, it also increases the screen size to 5.5" without making the device bigger overall.
The original Galaxy Note was launched last year at IFA 2011.
According to the paper, despite muted critical reaction the 5" phone and tablet went on to sell surprisingly well.
