UP man arrested in Goa as terror suspect

The South Goa police have arrested and started interrogating a person suspected of terrorist activity.
Afzal Khan, 32, hailing from Etah district in Uttar Pradesh is in the police custody since Aug 24.
His arrest came following allegations from a local who, in his complaint letter to the Verna police, said that Afzal was instigating him against a particular community and influencing his mind to join him and his "brothers" at his native.
The police have seized from Afzal five SIM cards belonging to different states. "We have got in touch with our counterparts to give us details of Afzal. At present, he is being interrogated for any terror links," said a senior police officer.
