Pune blasts not mischievous but may be terror attacks: Shinde
Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde today said multiple low-intensity bomb blasts in the city on Wednesday could be the act of terrorists.
Addressing a news conference here this evening, Mr Shinde, who was on his first visit to the city after taking the oath as Home minister, said the blasts was not the mischievous act and pointed that it was a serious act.
He further said four agencies including National Investigation Agency (NIA) were involved in the investigation and assured something will come out very soon.
The Home minister, however, refused to share details about the investigation.
Earlier, Mr Shinde along with Union home secretary R K Singh held closed-door meetings with Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and high-ranking police officials at Police commessionerate where media was not allowed.
