Train collides with school bus; 4 killed

At least four children were killed and 19 others were injured as a local train collided with a school bus at Kot Mehtab Singh village near Amritsar city on Monday.
According to reports, the bus was hit by the mini local train when it was crossing an unmanned railway crossing.
The train was on is way from Beas Railway Station to Goindwal when the mishap occurred.
"Four children died on the spot," said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Suba Singh.
The injured people were admitted in a hospital in Beas.
According to the police, at least 23 children, aged between 12 to 14 years, were travelling in the school bus.
The students were from Sant Baba Majha Singh Karmjot Model School in Baba Bakala town.
