Joshi starts 'Sangat Darshan' for industrialists
The Sangat Darshan for industrialists and entrepreneurs started by Punjab Industry department are proving to be quiet success as 90 per cent complaints were solved on the spot in first three sangat darshans in Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana.
Punjab Industry and Commerce Minister Anil Joshi today said he had carried forward the concept of Sangat Darshan of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to industrialist and enterprenuers and decided to organise every week in those cities, where industry was concentrated.
He said till date he had organised Sangat Darshans at Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana. Most of the complaints he received during sangat darshans pertained to power connections, pollution certificates, upkeep of focal points and he was happy that he was able to solve 90 per cent complaints at the spot, he added.
Mr Joshi said Punjab was the first state to organise Sangat Darshan for the industry sector to provide single point redressal forum for solution of their problems.
He said he had already issued instructions to computerise the industry department and with the starting of web portal and implementation deemed sanction, most of problems being raised by the industrialists would be solved automatically.
Reiterating the commitment of the SAD-BJP Government to usher in an era of transparency in the Industry Department, he said that he would be taking policy decisions to ensure one lakh crore investment in industry sector within next five years.
