Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) will be conducting a three-day 'Thirumana Thiruthala' tour beginning August 3 for the benefit of those whose marriage was getting delayed due to 'doshas' (malefic aspects in the horoscope).
The objective of the trip is to help youngsters who feel that their marriage is getting delayed because of obstacles and trip will focus on temples that offer divine solutions and 'pariharams' (atonement) for early marriage, a senior TTDC official said.
The guests en-route will be taken to temples at Thiruividanthai, Thirumanancheri, Kumbakkaonam and Madurai.
With the delayed monsoon gaining momentum in parts of southern region, the TTDC will also start its 'Courtallam tour' on the same day.
The annual tour to the famous waterfall will start every Friday and the tourists will return on Monday mornings.
The guests en-route will be taken to temples at Tenkasi, Srivilliputhur and Madurai.
The TTDC had also launched an exclusive eight-day Tamil Nadu Temple Tour for devotees, the official said.
To encourage youngsters and nature lovers, tours with trekking as the major component will be unveiled and few forest areas in Tirunelveli are under study. Besides Ooty trip can also be extended to other forest areas but the visitors should adhere to the local wildlife norms, the official said.
'We are also exploring new forest buffer zones in Top slip, Yelagiri and Kolli Hills and will be part of the planned trekking tours and the forest department would be approached seeking their suggestions,' another TTDC official said.
