Instructions to appoint dependents of deceased employees
Chandigarh, Jul 20 : The Punjab government today issued orders to appoint dependents of deceased government employees.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesman said written instructions in this regard have been issued to all the department heads, Commissioner of divisions, Deputy Commissioners, Sub-divisional officers.
He said these authorities have also been instructed to send all such cases through their respective administrative departments so that the process for appointing dependents of deceased employees could be expedited.
He said all the departments have also been asked to furnish detailed information of all such pending cases through the performa issued by Personnel department.
He said that information have been sought within 15 days from the date of issuance of this letter.
