Punjab CM , Deputy CM condole demise of Rajesh Khanna
Chandigarh, Jul 18 : Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal expressed deep shock at the tragic demise of cine icon and former Member Parliament Rajesh Khanna who died at Mumbai today.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister said Rajesh Khanna hailing from holy city of Amritsar, redefined romantic films and mesmerized the whole world to emerge as the first ever Superstar of Bollywood. He said in the death of Rajesh Khanna the country has lost a jewel and void created by his death can not be filled in future.
They expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed to God to give peace to the departed soul and strength to them to bear this irreparable loss.
