PEB earns over Rs 67 cr by organising exams
Bhopal, July 18 : The Madhya Pradesh Government today told the Assembly that the Professional Examination Board (PEB) has earned a revenue of more than Rs 67.83 crore as fee by organising various examinations in 2012 so far.
In a written reply to Mr Deepak Saxena (Congress), Technical Education Minister Laxmikant Sharma said that 11 examinations had been organised by the PEB this year for admission into various institutions and recruitment into different departments.
Most revenue of Rs 33.58 cr was earned through organising contract teachers class III examination. Likewise, a revenue of Rs 13.63 cr was earned through organising contract teachers class II examination.
