Former CM Keshubhai to address Parivartan Sammelan tomorrow
Rajkot, Jul 17: The stage is set for the third 'Parivartan Sammelan' here tomorrow with former Gujarat Chief Minister and rebel BJP Leader Keshubhai Patel taking the centrestage to announce his plans for the forthcoming state assembly elections.
The spotlight will be on his plans to oust Chief Minister Narendra Modi from power, his supporters claim.
At his Junagadh Parivartan Sammelan, two days ago, Keshubhai had expressed his willingness to contest upcoming Assembly election, if the situation warrants.
After he was sidelined from the party in 2001 and replaced by Narendra Modi, the dissident leader in last couple of months, came out openly against Modi and hit out at his style of functioning.
At tomorrow's meeting, a show of strength would be projected by Keshubhhai to take on Mr Modi in the central city of Saurashtra. The BJP, however, will keep close watch on the sammelan and sort out their strategy to tackle the situation in the present circumstances.
The Maha Gujarat Janata Party (MGJP) will take out scooter and car rally through the main Bazaar in the morning, before the start of the Sammelan. They will take out rallies from the venue of the sammelan and would move thorough main Bazaars. MJP sources said.
MGJP leader Gordhan Zadaphia, dissident BJP leaders' former chief minister Suresh Mehta, Kashiram Rana, and Shidharth Parmar will be present in the sammelan.
