MLC Mallikarjunappa quits, all set to join KJP
Bangalore, Mar 20 : Member of Karnataka Legislative Council Mallikarjunappa today tendered resignation from the post.
He handed over the resignation letter to Council Chairman D H Shankaramurthy who accepted it, according to official sources.
Mr Mallikarjunappa, who had identified himself with Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, is all set to join Karnataka Janata Paksh.
Speaking to newspersons after handing over the resignation letter to the Council Chairman, Mr Mallikarjunappa said, "I will be joining KJP shortly and will contest in the May 5 Assembly election from Chamaraja in Mysore District."
