Industrialist arrested by CBI
Palakkad, Kerala, Mar 19 : Controversial Industrialist V M Radhakrishnan was arrested by the CBI in connection with the case relating to the death of former company secretary of Malabar Cements Limited (MCL) V Saseendran and his two sons.
A CBI team took him into custody from his residence here this afternoon.
The CBI had named Radhakrishnan and two others for abetment of suicide. Mr Saseendran was a key witness in four vigilance cases relating to corruption in the profit-making company.
Though it was initially dismissed as suicide, the Kerala High court ordered a CBI probe into the case after his wife Teena demanded an investigation into the death.
