'Die-hard' Liverpool supporter changes surname to Anfield
London, Mar 20 : A fanatical Liverpool supporter, Axel Gogstad has changed his last name to Anfield, which is club's football ground's name,
Gogstad has no regrets changing his name to the stadium he has visited on nine occasions but the title came as a complete shock to his puzzled mother, the Daily Mirror reports.
To prove his commitment to the men in red the 27-year-old decided to legally change his surname to Anfield, and now he is called Axel Gogstad-Anfield, and he believes he is the first person in his home country of Norway to choose the name, it reported.
The sports journalism student in Southampton added the name of the club's historic stadium to his official title nine years ago, and he added he changed his name to Anfield when he turned 18 back in Norway.
Gorgstad added it was quite a spontaneous thing, really, adding he has always been proud of his name but he thought if he puts Anfield to it he would be even more proud of it and he can carry Liverpool wherever he is going.

Axel jokes that any Liverpool fan considering following in his footsteps will have to check with him first to get permission.
